Earlier this month, I gave my second TED Talk. On behalf of Abe's Eats, I want to thank TED, its in-house incubator program, and the residents who collaborated with each other to make this time so special.
This particular talk (not yet titled) will be on TED.com in the months ahead. It is about the American farmer and their diminishing share in an ever changing food supply chain that is neglecting their role as one of the most important people in society. The farmer's share in relation to the final price tag of a product sold at a large retail store offers a glimpse into the difficulties they face today, including the rise in crime and drug use across rural America.
